Our Designers have created a nursery which will transform how people feel and behave, provide choice and encourage social interaction, and use resources in a sustainable, effective, and imaginative manner. The building will be a place where children can go to learn and play, as well as somewhere for parents and carers to meet and socialise with their children. The design fits into the locality, uses renewable energy, and offers a variety of internal nursery spaces which maximises flexibility.
The external play area has been designed as an extension of the learning and play environment, to encourage chidren’s imagination and physical development.
The nursery will provide a high quality solution, incorporating a design which fits the local environment, taking into account the architecture, the demands of the community, and collaborating with the school in best meeting the needs of the individual children in its care.
New Experiences
Brunton Peaks
An experienced team of staff are currently working on an activity programme for Brunton Peaks. We are delighted to be opening this provision aimed at providing educational and play activities for children with their parents.
It will provide a wide range of activities in a purposely designed area offering a stimulating, exciting child friendly space for all to explore and conquer.

Congratulations to our team at Howdon Children’s Centre Nursery for achieving a 5 star rating, the highest possible outcome, for their 2011 Food Hygiene inspection in February this year.
Howdon Nursery staff team, together with their colleagues at Wallsend Crèche, have been awarded Gold following the Communication Friendly Assessment.
These two Childcare Enterprise Ltd teams are going from strength to strength.
Following Wallsend Crèche’s Outstanding outcome in it’s Ofsted Inspection last year, their colleagues at Howdon Children’s Centre Nursery were part of the successful team achieving one of the first Outstanding Ofsted outcomes awarded to a Children’s Centre.
