March 2019 is Science and Investigation month here at Brunton Nursery!
Throughout the month all of the kids here at Brunton Nursery will get to take part in fun experiments, crafts and other activities themed by Science, Investigation and and discovery.
Over in the pre-school the children will be making a space station out materials from our home corner. They’ll be taking off from the space station to explore and learn about the planets in our solar system.
Our rising 3’s will be learning all about growth and decay using plant seeds to discover how this occurs.
We’ve a real treat for our rising 2’s who will be experimenting with volcanoes. Don’t worry though, there won’t be hot lava flooding the halls of Brunton Nursery. We’ll be using soda to create our volcanoes.
With our under 2’s we’ll be using ice play to let them explore and discover their senses. The amazing thing about sensory play is that it opens the door to so many wonderful learning opportunities such as imaginative play, language exploration and fine motor development.
